Three forests, side by side
The Forest Series contains three paintings called Harlestone, Everdon and Salcey, each named after the Northamptonshire Woodlands and Forests that inspired them. These Woodland and Forests have special qualities that change according to the season. I chose the seasonal colours and time of year to paint for the time of year I like best in each individual woodland.
